Ideas for Translating Song Lyrics Well (or, I analyse my English Miku song)

In 2017, Hatsune Miku’s 10th anniversary was approaching. The second version of her English phoneme voicebank – titled “V4 English” – was newly released, and I decided to look at a demo song out of curiosity. I didn’t really follow the scene directly or listen to a whole ton of Vocaloid music; my music preferences
